The work series “Cabezas” investigates the relationships between people and between people and animals. I still find a mystery in the way the unconscious works in the chemistry of attraction, rejection, dominance, fear, power, etc. Even though from the perspective of developed societies there is not much room left to the inexplicable and irrational, I find that under this shield there is an entire world of feelings and emotions that propels us either in gregarious or in Brownian movements through life. What do these instant feelings of attraction or rejection for example consist of? Is it a matter of facial proportions in the sense of the classical Greek art or is it more than this? I can’t rationally explain it but my series is a visual exploration in the aesthetics of this matter.
